1. Where does the money go?

All money raised will be donated to the Australian Cystic Fibrosis Research Trust (ACFRT). This trust funds appropriate research to help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. 
2. What is Cystic Fibrosis?
Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disease that causes the mucus in the lungs and pancreas/digestive system to become thick and sticky. This causes tiny airways in the lungs to become clogged, creating an environment for infection. Infection in the lungs can create irreversible damage that will require lung transplants. Pancreatic function is also effected by CF which causes sufferes to consume digestive enzymes in the form of tablets with every meal.
3. Can I take a dog on the 5km event?
Yes, as long as you have him on a lead at all times and bring poop bags to clean up their mess. 
4. Can my child under the age of 8 receive a singlet/shirt?
If you wish to have a singlet/shirt for your child that is 8 or under please register them in the 9yrs - 12yrs age category. 
5. Can I walk the 5km run?
Absolutely! It is totally up to you wether you walk or run in either of the events. 
6. Can I participate in the dog walk without a dog?
Yes, for sure. It is all about participation and it does not matter at all wether you complete the dog walk without a dog.
