Run as 1 for Cystic Fibrosis has been created by Clare Pullen when she was a yr 11 student at St Patricks College in honour of her cousin Karli Elder. Karli is a happy, energetic and enthusiastic 12 yr old girl with Cystic Fibrosis. Walking down the street you would not know that such a healthy looking and outgoing young girl would be suffering a disease such as CF. However, the disease is well understood and a cure will be found, it is just time and money. There are thousands of sufferers just like Karli that are relying on the initiative and support of others (particularly adults) to help fund the invaluable research to find them a cure. Run as 1 for Cystic Fibrosis strives to promote Cystic Fibrosis awareness while fundraising to support the Australian Cystic Fibrosis Research Trust.
